Course: Google Analytics Certification (3-day training)

This 3-day Google Analytics Certification course is a comprehensive web analytics course that covers topics from basic setup and configuration, to advanced tracking features.

The course comprises of 3 modules:

  1. Analytics 101 introduces the basics of web analytics such as tracking referral sources, improving web design and content, and identifying visitor preferences. Participants will also be shown how to apply these Google Analytics skills to their own websites.
  2. Analytics 201 expands on the fundamentals, and gives a deeper understanding on the metrics behind web analytics, advanced tools, and best practices to improve advertising and marketing ROI, measuring visitors’ engagement and creating advanced goals.
  3. Analytics 301 helps participants to uncover more details and insights in their Google Analytics data by tackling topics like customised tracking code, filtering analytics data, setting up goals and funnels, and tracking interactive elements.

At the end of Day 3, participants will undertake the official GAIQ certification exam (90 minutes).

Ang Eu Gene is the Lead Trainer in Asia for Econsultancy and has trained over 6,000 participants in digital marketing courses and seminars across Asia. He provides digital marketing training and consulting for global clients like American Express, Gucci, Standard Chartered, Volkswagen, TripAdvisor, Sanofi, and regional firms like SPH, Maybank, OCBC, Media Prima, Resorts World Sentosa, Great Eastern and Singtel among many others. Eu Gene also lectures digital marketing in the MBA and Executive Education programmes at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Eu Gene has 23 years experience in marketing, and has worked in top global firms like 3M, FedEx and DHL in various senior sales and marketing roles. Ivan Wong

Ivan Wong is a Senior Trainer & Consultant at ClickAcademy Asia, a premier training and development academy for Asia’s professional talents. Ivan has over 20 years of experience in Business Consulting, Search Engine Marketing, Conversion Management and Digital Analytics with deep experience across multiple verticals. He is a Qualified Google Adwords and Google Analytics individual, and an external trainer for Econsultancy, ClickAcademy Asia and Google’s Partners Program.

He was most recently the co-founder of a premier digital consulting agency, Queen Consulting Group. Ivan was previously the Director of SEO & Analytics at GroupM APAC, and before that Director of e-Commerce at Far East Hospitality, Singapore’s largest operator of hotels & serviced residences. Prior to that he was Head of Search & Operations at DGM Asia based in Singapore and has also held management positions in Web Analytics Asia, Hewlett-Packard Asia and Magnus Management Consultants.

Ankit is a technology expert with many years of experience in distributed systems and blockchain. He was a protocol developer for Ocean Protocol, following which he was part of Entrepreneur First in Singapore. Ankit founded Blockvidhya, a document verification service relying on blockchain, which was incubated at IIT Mandi.

He was a core contributor to Solidity and was named as a research grantee by Ethereum for his efforts. He has also worked with Red Hat, where he developed the DHT module for GlusterFS. GlusterFS is being used by Facebook and financial institutions for clustering large chunks of data, images and videos.

As a college student, he was a student developer at Google’s Summer of Code where he worked on the wrapper of RPC protocol for Ruby. He also worked with Lalaworld, a successful ICO where he built the lending platform and led the remittance team.
