Programme

This is an intensive but complete digital marketing certification programme facilitated by a panel of experienced digital marketing professionals.

In 7 days of live workshop, and guided self-learning (webinars, micro learning modules and reports), participants will gain expertise and skills in wide area of digital marketing topics including social media, analytics, search engine marketing and content marketing.

Participants who successfully complete the programme will be awarded the Econsultancy’s Professional Certificate in Digital Marketing.

Post-workshop mentoring completes the programme to help participants develop in the digital marketing roles.

Entry Requirements

This programme targets marketing professionals, business owners, c-level professionals and individuals who want to enhance their knowledge in digital marketing, and are looking for a credible certification course with “live” training conducted locally.

There is no minimum qualification or pre-requisite set for the programme, but participants who have at least 2 years of marketing experience will be preferred.

This certification programme covers 3 main modules delivered in 7 face-to-face workshops, and guided online learning.

MODULE 1 – DIGITAL MARKETING FUNDAMENTALS
(3 full day live face-to-face workshops, and 25 hours of guided online learning)

Course content of live workshops:

Day 1 – overview of digital marketing, frameworks & processes, email marketing & marketing automation, digital marketing technology

Day 2 – display advertising, content marketing

Day 3 – social media marketing including Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn Marketing, module certification test

Course content of guided online learning:

  • 12 hours of 24 micro learning modules (about 30 mins each)
  • 13 hours of online webinars and resources

 

MODULE 2 – SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING

(2 full day face-to-face workshops, and 11.5 hours of guided online learning)

Course content of live workshops:

Day 4 – Paid search advertising

Day 5 – Search engine optimisation (SEO), module certification test

Course content of guided online learning:

  • 2.5 hours of 5 micro learning modules (about 30 mins each)
  • 9 hours of online webinars and reports

 

MODULE 3 – DATA & ANALYTICS

(2 full day face-to-face workshops, and 11 hours of guided online learning)

Day 6 – Overview of data analytics and measurement

Day 7 – Google Analytics and other data analytics tools, module certification test

  • 1.5 hours of 3 micro learning modules (about 30 mins each)

Ang Eu Gene is the Lead Trainer in Asia for Econsultancy and has trained over 6,000 participants in digital marketing courses and seminars across Asia. He provides digital marketing training and consulting for global clients like American Express, Gucci, Standard Chartered, Volkswagen, TripAdvisor, Sanofi, and regional firms like SPH, Maybank, OCBC, Media Prima, Resorts World Sentosa, Great Eastern and Singtel among many others. Eu Gene also lectures digital marketing in the MBA and Executive Education programmes at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Eu Gene has 23 years experience in marketing, and has worked in top global firms like 3M, FedEx and DHL in various senior sales and marketing roles. He is also one of the few certified Google Regional Trainer that trains the official Google AdWords and Analytics courses.  Eu Gene also leads the regional trainer team for the Econsultancy’s Certificate in Digital Marketing programme.  He has worked with SPRING Singapore, International Enterprise (IE) Singapore, Workforce Development Agency (WDA), and other government agencies to promote digital marketing among Singapore businesses.

Ariff has worked on digital marketing solutions for clients in Malaysia and Singapore including Ministry Of Trade, Consumer and Cooperatives –Malaysia, SingTel, Infiniti, Volvo, Fuji Xerox, Eurogroup, American Express, AXA Insurance, ANZ Bank, MOL Points, Julius Baer Private Bank and Kaplan Higher Institute of Education among many others.

Ariff has over 10 years’ experience in digital marketing and has served in ClickMedia and OOM in various senior sales, marketing and training roles. His work experience covers managing and executing global and regional digital branding and media campaigns, ranging from initial conceptualization, implementation, and monetization to final execution.
